Shokunin

East Austin, Austin · restaurant

About Shokunin

Michelin-rated sushi stripped down to 26 seats, a walk-in-only policy, and fish flown in weekly from Tokyo's Toyosu Market. Orders are placed on a retro check-box sheet and limited to nigiri, sashimi, and hand rolls. No cooked dishes, no distractions. The toro is an easy win, but the omakase's closing toro-uni-caviar-truffle hand roll is the bite people end up talking about afterward.
