A small handmade udon shop on First Street where the kitchen pulls Sanuki-style noodles fresh and applies them to things you wouldn't expect: Sea Urchin Cream Udon, Miso Carbonara, Bolognese alongside more traditional broth bowls. The cold Bukkake (chilled noodles, bonito flakes, dashi poured tableside) is the dish that makes the clearest case for the house-pulled noodles. Weekend lines run down the block; turnover is faster than it looks.
