About The Knickerbocker

Old-school without the shtick, The Knick has been serving up steaks, martinis, and a whiff of bygone bohemian Village since the ’70s. The white-jacketed bartenders pour with a heavy hand, the jazz trio sets the mood, and the red booths invite you to linger longer than you planned. Polished but worn-in, it’s a holdout from when Greenwich Village still had a little grit. No wonder it never really went out of style.
