A former takeaway counter on a quiet Fort Greene corner has been transformed into an intimate dining room with brass accents, a marble wine display, and just eight tables. The menu makes simple things extraordinary, from Toast with Green Sauce to a roasted chicken for two served over Parmesan potatoes and braised chard, while the stuffed Swiss chard filled with herbed rice has developed a cult following. Reservations disappear quickly, but the effort pays off.
