About Peking Tavern

A DTLA basement hideout where Tsingtaos are cold, the dumplings are plentiful, and the vibe feels like a Beijing expat’s after-hours clubhouse. It’s brick-walled, string-lit, and just cramped enough to encourage communal tables and accidental oversharing. The menu leans Northern Chinese comfort (skewers, hand-pulled noodles, plates built for the center of the table) while the beer list keeps things easy and unpretentious. Still the only spot in LA pouring baijiu, a fiery traditional Chinese spirit.
