A proper German Konditorei on Fell Street, where the menu stays true to the tradition. Kirschstreuselkuchen, Bienenstich (honey-almond bee sting cake), Sachertorte, and Black Forest cake made from scratch, no artificial additives. Open Wednesday through Sunday until sold out, which happens fast; the Herrentorte. Marzipan, apricot, dark chocolate ganache layered into something very quiet and very serious. Is reason enough to plan around their hours.
