Part grocery, part sit-down restaurant, and entirely devoted to the Jewish diaspora. The star of the show is the Montreal-style bagels boiled in honey water and made with heirloom grain. Schnecken come stuffed with sour cherries and pistachios, the syrniki pancakes are custardy with tart currant, and the chicken schnitzel arrives on a slab of schmaltzy cornbread.
