Bird in Hand keeps everything on a seasonal clock, starting with the Shy & Humble. Pear brandy, served in a bird-shaped glass, here for a moment and then gone. The bar sticks close to home with farm beers from the five boroughs and New York State wines, while the kitchen runs the same logic through truffle mac, Brussels sprouts, and fried chicken. It all moves together (cocktails, food, and menu) so there’s always a sense you caught it at the right time.
