A traditional Japanese sushi bar in the Financial District that has operated since 1995 on a menu of clean, classical Japanese preparation. The Tuna Tatare, miso-marinated bluefin with avocado and quail egg, and the Truffle Hamachi, yellowtail over organic greens with truffle, are the appetizers regulars claim first. The Mason Street Roll tops torched hamachi and truffle sauce over shrimp, crab, and avocado with tobiko.
