A tiny Clinton Street bakery that’s only open a few hours a week, specializing in sourdough milk bread: a soft, slightly sweet bread, fermented slowly and naturally. They also do heritage grains from Pennsylvania farms and a long fermentation process that makes the texture extra light and fluffy. A fermented rye chocolate cookie is there if you need something for the walk home, and the short Friday–Saturday window means you really have to plan around it.
