Bob Baker Marionette Theater performs a Halloween puppet show at Barnsdall Park, followed by family art activities led by Barnsdall Junior Art Center instructors. The event is free and open to the public with no RSVP required.
Perch on a red-cushioned carpet circle as life-size marionettes strut across a vintage Art Deco stage, strings glowing under warm, theatrical lighting. This is puppetry far from kindergarten fare. The space, a lovingly reimagined 1920s silent-era movie house, folds nostalgia and hand-crafted charm into every corner. From the lobby’s daisy‑tile floors to post‑show free scoops of ice cream for all ages.
