Sunday, October 18, 2026, 3:00 AM - 5:00 AM · Bob Baker Marionette Theater, Highland Park, Los Angeles
A star-studded cast including Jon Daly, Wil Wheaton, and Eric Edelstein performs a Halloween-themed live read of the Star Trek episode "Catspaw" to benefit Bob Baker Marionette Theater's nonprofit mission.
Perch on a red-cushioned carpet circle as life-size marionettes strut across a vintage Art Deco stage, strings glowing under warm, theatrical lighting. This is puppetry far from kindergarten fare. The space, a lovingly reimagined 1920s silent-era movie house, folds nostalgia and hand-crafted charm into every corner. From the lobby’s daisy‑tile floors to post‑show free scoops of ice cream for all ages.
