Bob Baker Marionette Theater and Screen Novelties present the annual Spook-A-Nanny at Heritage Square Museum, screening vintage and animated Halloween video snippets alongside classic BBMT puppet numbers. Vendor pop-ups from Buttery Popcorn Co, Estrella Coffee Co, and Papi Churro Van are on-site; bring a picnic blanket.
Perch on a red-cushioned carpet circle as life-size marionettes strut across a vintage Art Deco stage, strings glowing under warm, theatrical lighting. This is puppetry far from kindergarten fare. The space, a lovingly reimagined 1920s silent-era movie house, folds nostalgia and hand-crafted charm into every corner. From the lobby’s daisy‑tile floors to post‑show free scoops of ice cream for all ages.
