Two candlelit rooms, dark wood, exposed brick, and a chalkboard of mostly French wines. Von has been this exact same bar since 1996 and intends to keep it that way. The bartenders know the wine list cold and a secret staircase in the Parlor leads down to the Lounge, which is the kind of detail worth filing away for later.
