A Belgian-born neighborhood bakery where sourdough gets pulled from cast-iron dutch ovens in batches of three dozen and the pastry case reads like a competition scorecard — Pastry Chef of the Year, Best Cheesecake in the Bay, Best Sourdough in SF. The TACRO (taco meets croissant), Turmeric Monkey Bread, and Orange-Blossom & Zaatar croissant are the signatures, and the kitchen makes everything by hand, including the hot sauce.
