An extremely casual strip-mall taco counter built around blue corn tortillas pressed to order from nixtamalized masa, giving every taco a deeper nuttiness and heft than the average LA version. The Ranchera Asada Queso Taco (skirt steak, cotija, crema mexicana, hibiscus-pickled onions) is the signature, while the Villas Trio unlocks a pair of off-menu tacos regulars know to ask for. Bad Bunny once brought one onstage at the Super Bowl, which somehow still feels less surprising once you try them.
