The menu leans French-California with an Asian undercurrent. Duck soup with housemade wontons and a star anise broth, steak frites with California-raised beef, and truffled ham and cheese croquettes cut through with harissa. The Plea Deal, a vodka-lemongrass-pear brandy cocktail, is a reliable opener.
