Santa Monica, Los Angeles · bar
A Santa Monica beer bar that’s been flying the craft flag since before it was cool to argue about hops. It’s brick-walled, unpretentious, and stacked with taps that lean IPA-heavy without alienating the dark-beer loyalists. The crowd skews loyal and a little opinionated, the patio’s a solid fallback, and nobody’s here for a $19 cocktail. It’s about pints, lagers and ales.
Smooth, creamy Irish red on nitro tap — a rare LA find for fans of classic Irish session ales.
Over 500 whiskeys including Japanese single malts and rare Scotch pours.
One of the few LA bars pouring real cask-conditioned ale, rotated regularly.
