Tucked into the street-level corner of Rockefeller Center, Rough Trade Above is the polished face of NYC’s latest record store expansion. It’s all new vinyl first: shiny releases, clean genre-rows, and familiar indie names, and the music smells like possibility—warm and sharp at the same time. Upstairs here you’ll browse, buy, catch in-store performances, and maybe leave with more than you came for (those record-sleeves hit different in natural light).
