FiDi + Seaport, Manhattan · bar
You walk in and immediately feel like you’ve dropped onto the deck of a whaling ship. Wood everywhere, smudged windows, murals that look like they were torn from Moby Dick. But it’s not just theme: the cocktails are heavy-hitters named after Melville quotes, the fries have vinegar powder dust, and upstairs (“The Gam”) gives you brick walls, big windows, and a view of the Brooklyn Bridge to drink in. It’s ideal for slow early evening drinks or a quieter night when the crowd hasn’t fully hit. You actually get to taste your drink.
