Northeast L.A., Los Angeles · bar
A strip-mall wine bar dressed like a French art film—cobalt lights, mirrored bar, flowers in tiny vases, and a crowd that looks half accidental, half curated. The pours lean natural, the food feels like a chef-y dinner party (tuna tartare, beans with farmer’s cheese, olive oil cake that disappears too fast), and the vibe is moody without being self-serious. Chinatown finally has its own late-night hideout, and it’s a good one.
