Monthly brunch comedy show returns to John Doe Craft Bar & Kitchen with a Halloween theme, costumes welcome. Hosted by Erin Long with sets from Rachel Yu, Mo Mussa, Charlie Flynn, Katherine Duffy, Eddie Stone and Corbin Lopez, $10 cover.
The $1 oysters run all day, and the house-brewed John Doe Lager stays on tap, a combination that makes this Fifth Avenue address between the Flatiron and Empire State Building more than just a convenient location. Outdoor tables face the avenue, and nightly specials give regulars a reason to keep coming back. One of the few spots in the neighborhood that feels built for lingering rather than passing through.
