Bahia Taste returns to Bar Goyana with a second edition of Bahian food, live music, and culture for one afternoon. The pop-up runs October 11 from noon to 6pm and reservations are recommended.
Murals of Carmen Miranda and Tarsila do Amaral set the tone, and the signature Goyana cocktail follows through: aged cachaça with fresh pineapple, passion fruit, and a rare vanilla sourced from a family farm in Goiás. Saturdays are the real draw. Roda de Samba takes over, feijoada hits the tables (black beans and pork with rice, collards, farofa) and the whole place tips from restaurant into something closer to a Brazilian block party.
