Lost Cove takes over Rasarumah for a two-night Halloween tiki pop-up October 28 and 29, with pupu platter specials by Chef Johnny Lee including Char Siu Kurobuta pork ribs and jumbo chili prawns. Tropical rum cocktails and volcano bowls round out the haunted island menu.
A warm glow of mustard-yellow banquettes, wood-slat tables, and lush greenery pin you in place. And good luck leaving without flipping through a menu that reads like a Southeast Asian mood board. The food moves at its own confident pace: chewy wonton-mee, show-stealing wagyu-cheek rendang with buttery roti, and enough sambals to stage their own choir. It’s a “flavor house” where dinners feel lively without the effort, and even opening orders (shrimp chips and sambal flights) set the tone for an evening that tastes a little urgent and a little joyful.
Glossy red cubes of raw tuna tossed in a spicy chili-lime dressing with cilantro, mint, shallots
Wok-fired rice noodles with Chinese sausage, shrimp, bean sprouts, garlic, and soy
Mushroom curry in a clay pot with rice. Earthy and warming.
Grilled pork jowl satay with peanut sauce. Smoky.
Wagyu beef cheek in coconut rendang curry. Rich and tender.
