Friday, October 16, 2026, 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM · Akbar, Silver Lake, Los Angeles
Terry Lee's Rocksteady Lounge takes over Akbar with a Halloween-themed black wedding dance party spinning ska, rocksteady, northern soul, and reggae. DJ Cutthroat and DJ Virenfrei guest alongside resident Count E.N., with no cover.
Akbar feels like Silver Lake’s long-standing clubhouse: punk roots, cheap drinks, crowded dance room, mellow front lounge. DJs, drag, sing-alongs, themed nights (Planet Queer, Bears in Space, etc.), the calendar is full, and the vibe is refreshingly all-inclusive. No velvet ropes, no attitude; just a place to show up, move, laugh, maybe stumble out after last call with your shoes half off.
