Bartender Garrett Marks debuts The Luck, a clarified cocktail with cilantro-infused Oaxacan agricole rum, fresh carrot juice, banana liqueur and lime, at Moongate Lounge during SF StarChefs Rising Stars Restaurant Week.
An upstairs lounge rotating its cocktail menu through the Chinese Agrarian calendar. Twelve seasonal chapters, each with its own spirits and flavor profile, so what you drank last month doesn’t exist this week. Natural wine and an eclectic bar menu fill the room, which stays low-lit, unhurried, and set up for listening.
