Rethink Food marks its 9th anniversary at Union Pool with live sets from Wiki, Saudi Oil, and Kahiem Rivera, DJ sets from Akwasi Brenya-Mensa and Fabienne, and food by Zaab Zaab. Suggested $25 donation, with proceeds funding meals for New Yorkers in need.
A former pool-supply storefront under the BQE turned into one of Williamsburg’s last genuinely rough-around-the-edges good time spots. Three rooms, a patio with a taco truck grinning away, and enough music and chaos that you’ll forget the condos outside exist.
