Murrays Tavern runs a special Negroni menu September 21-27 for Negroni Week, featuring a classic, a dirty, and a cantaloupe variation. Proceeds benefit Slow Food USA's food sustainability efforts.
The signature drink is Grandma Murray’s Rob Roy, a cocktail named after someone’s grandmother and delivered with the kind of specificity that defines the whole place. Prime rib, oysters Rockefeller, beef tartare, and fish and chips all show up on the menu and all arrive executed with surprising confidence. The Frozen Brandy Alexander is there too, which feels entirely unnecessary until you order one.
