Bahamian bar collective Bon Vivants takes over Murrays Tavern for a Texas Cocktail Week pop-up, with bartenders Niko and Devante pouring their Clean Slate, Benny & The Jets, Funky Nassau, and Bimini Vesper.
The signature drink is Grandma Murray’s Rob Roy, a cocktail named after someone’s grandmother and delivered with the kind of specificity that defines the whole place. Prime rib, oysters Rockefeller, beef tartare, and fish and chips all show up on the menu and all arrive executed with surprising confidence. The Frozen Brandy Alexander is there too, which feels entirely unnecessary until you order one.
