Highland Park Jazz brings a quartet featuring Joel Shryack on sax, Alex Ramirez on bass, Ethan Gonzalez on keys, and Joel Domantay on drums to Club 1881. $10 cover with a two-drink minimum.
A dark little jazz den where the drinks are stiff, the crowd’s mixed, and the music hits like a slow pour. Wednesdays mean world jazz, weekends bring vocals or samba, and there’s always a $10 cover keeping things just exclusive enough. Come solo, leave buzzing.
