Family Not A Group celebrates its fifth anniversary with a daytime patio party at El Rio on October 17. Local DJs spin from 3-8pm, $25 cover, 21+.
A queer community bar on Mission Street with a giant back patio that runs from punk shows on Friday nights to salsa orchestras and drag on the weekends. Free oysters land on the deck every Friday at 5:30pm, and the house margaritas (Espolon tequila or El Silencio mezcal, both squeezed fresh) are the other reason to show up early.
