Four musical duos, including harpist Eleanora and LA-based Elif Dinçer and Zac Burgenbauch, perform at Adobe Books on October 3rd. Doors at 7pm, $10-20 sliding scale, no one turned away for lack of funds.
Used books floor to ceiling in a Mission storefront that also runs a rotating gallery in back and an occasional performance stage. The shelves run deep into fiction, poetry, and art (dense, eccentric, and priced cheap) with free books stacked in boxes outside on the sidewalk. The Backroom Gallery hosts local artists and the calendar includes readings and live events most weeks.
