Used books floor to ceiling in a Mission storefront that also runs a rotating gallery in back and an occasional performance stage. The shelves run deep into fiction, poetry, and art (dense, eccentric, and priced cheap) with free books stacked in boxes outside on the sidewalk. The Backroom Gallery hosts local artists and the calendar includes readings and live events most weeks.
