Black Empathy and All Xeeing I open a metal and dark wave crossover show at The Slipper Clutch, followed by Night Channels' album release with Château Noir and Faeryu spinning post-punk on the patio. Free masquerade masks provided and costumes encouraged, doors at 7:30pm.
Like a Lynchian fever dream tucked behind a Downtown pawn shop, The Slipper Clutch is all dark corners, vintage pinball, and the hum of leather jackets brushing past pool tables. The drinks are stiff, the soundtrack skews punk, and there’s just enough grit under the glam to keep things interesting. It’s the kind of place where you could accidentally join a biker gang. Or at least flirt with one.
