Saturday, October 31, 2026, 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM · Akbar, Silver Lake, Los Angeles
Crazy Disco Underground celebrates its 5th anniversary with The Jacksons: A Thriller, a tribute to the Jackson family. DJ Tobate Sounds spins 70s and 80s deep-cut disco, funk, soul, and hi-NRG, with a warm-up by DJ David Sofer from 10pm.
Akbar feels like Silver Lake’s long-standing clubhouse: punk roots, cheap drinks, crowded dance room, mellow front lounge. DJs, drag, sing-alongs, themed nights (Planet Queer, Bears in Space, etc.), the calendar is full, and the vibe is refreshingly all-inclusive. No velvet ropes, no attitude; just a place to show up, move, laugh, maybe stumble out after last call with your shoes half off.
