Fish Cheeks kicks off Gertrude's Fall 2026 Burgers with Buddies series, a rotating collab dinner with guest chefs every other Monday. Burgers, latkes, and special desserts are available in limited supply.
A snug little corner spot in Prospect Heights where Jewish comfort food gets a cheeky French accent. The kind of place where latkes flirt with trout roe, brisket shares a plate with pommes purée, and the matzo ball soup could honestly outshine your bubbe’s (but we won’t tell her). The vibe is cozy but confident. Low lighting, bentwood chairs, and a bar that knows its way around a Seder Plate Margarita. It’s dinner party energy without the dishes, and yes, you absolutely need the black-and-white seven-layer cake.
