Self-guided tour of Bed-Stuy homes on the Brownstoners' 48th annual house tour, with a free homeownership panel at 9 a.m. Tickets are required and nonrefundable, and proceeds benefit scholarship funds.
A bookstore and wine lounge where Black queer and feminist literature shares the counter with natural wine, both chosen with serious care. Author events, film theory workshops, and community salons fill the calendar most evenings, making it the kind of place people come to linger rather than browse.
