Author Alicia Hines and Paula T. Renfroe discuss Hines's novel Quiet Riot in the wine lounge at Gladys Books & Wine. Tickets are $15 and include a glass of bubbly, with Caribbean music from DJ Nw/A.
A bookstore and wine lounge where Black queer and feminist literature shares the counter with natural wine, both chosen with serious care. Author events, film theory workshops, and community salons fill the calendar most evenings, making it the kind of place people come to linger rather than browse.
