Tempest

About Tempest

Exposed brick, old bicycles hanging overhead, and a pool table at the center have made Tempest a SoMa institution since 1986. The real draw is The Box Kitchen in back, turning out mac and cheese egg rolls, pork belly-loaded potato skins, and a Schmitz Ranch burger that's earned national attention. The kitchen serves until midnight, giving people another reason to stay for one more round.
