A tiny Oaxacan spot on Venice Boulevard where the mole is dark, complex, and clearly made by someone who takes this very seriously. The room is colorful and unfussy, the tortillas taste like they actually met corn, and there’s usually a table of regulars who don’t need to look at the menu. Just nod and wait for something deeply comforting to arrive.
