Family photos, a Puerto Rican flag, and the smell of pernil asado before you're fully inside — Parada 22 doesn't so much decorate as remember. The mofongo supremo (smashed green plantains, smoked ham, sofrito, marinated chicken) is the order, but the full sampler — pernil, chicharrones, tostones, maduros, house salsa rosa — turns a quick lunch into something slower.
