Gramercy, Manhattan · bar
As close to a time machine as NYC gets. The towering, century-old back bar, tiled floors, and original dumbwaiter (still in use!) all whisper of the ghosts of newspaper men and literary types who once drank here before the city sanitized itself. The burger is a classic, the beer is cold, and if you snag a booth, stay a while. Places like this are an endangered species.
Breckenridge bourbon, specialty sachets with blend of spice and citrus, cinnamon stick and lemon.
Moonshine, Soon’s hot apple cider, fresh apple slice
A classic NYC pub burger on a soft sesame seed bun, served with hand-cut steak fries
