Lower East Side, Manhattan · bar
A narrow Nolita cocktail bar with worn-in brick, pressed-tin ceiling tiles, and the kind of energy that lands just on the right side of buzzy. The bartenders lean creative — past slushy-machines, daily board specials, and riffs on classics — and the food (duck wings, grilled-cheese with jus, fried chickpeas) shows up ready to soak up the booze. Seating is tight (don’t count on many tables), but that just means you’ll end up pressed cheek to cheek with locals and trade drink tips.
