Leadbetter's spent nearly a century as a wholesale bakery before opening this Castro storefront in 2025. Everything orbits a single thing: English muffins made wider, thicker, and griddled to a bronzed crust by fourth-generation baker Jamieson Leadbetter, stacked into sandwiches with lox, sausage-egg-and-cheese, or mushroom melt. Everything under $12. A one-subject restaurant that happens to be exactly right about its subject.
