Williamsburg, Brooklyn · bar
Tucked upstairs above Nem's Japandi Bistro, this red-lit speakeasy glows beneath an oversized koi sculpture that lords over the bar like a gilded fever dream. The cocktails lean hard into Japanese ingredients (duck fat-infused cognac smoked with matcha, hibiscus gin with nigori sake) and the karaage and unagi rolls give you a reason to keep ordering rounds. It's moody, a little theatrical, and exactly where you want to end up on a Williamsburg night.
Fried chicken with sancho pepper, honey and Szechuan sesame blend.
Japanese rum with amaro, yellow chartreuse, and lime—garnished with a hand-folded paper crane.
Duck fat-infused cognac with absinthe, fennel, and mizuna syrup—umami twist on a Sazerac.
