South Congress, Austin · bar
A gothic little East Austin bar tucked inside a 1920s cottage, where sconces glow against dark walls, the Virgin Mary watches over the back bar, and a food truck park hums outside with breakfast tacos and late-night snacks alike. It opens early for cold brew and matcha lattes before shifting into espresso martinis and cocktails by night, somehow making gothic décor, coffee shop energy, and food-truck chaos coexist without ever explaining itself.
