Cobble Hill / Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn · shop
Hidden behind a vintage clock-repair façade in Carroll Gardens, this little magic parlor feels like walking into a 1920s speakeasy with red velvet curtains, Persian rugs, weird art pieces, and puppets that might or might not move when you’re not looking. Greg Dubin (aka Dubini) runs 20-seat shows Thursday–Saturday, where sleight-of-hand, mentalism, and storytelling blur together over cocktails from Luana’s bar. Every detail—how Dubin greets you by name, the hush before the reveal, the rustic tin ceiling off P.J. Hanley’s old bar—adds up in this intimate, uncanny mini-theatre.
