Fairfax, Los Angeles · bar
Tucked behind a bookshelf in Blue Collar on Fairfax, Cold Shoulder is a speakeasy that’s less “Prohibition throwback” and more “Dali painting after three martinis.” Bar stools hang from the ceiling, portraits are upside-down, and the drinks are just as unhinged. Inventive, theatrical, and sometimes on fire. The crowd’s a mix of in-the-know locals and wide-eyed newcomers. It’s weird, it’s pricey, and it's fun.
