Two high school buddies turned a drunken promise into Glendale's first microbrewery, and ten years and twenty-plus competition medals later, Brewyard is still the most interesting taproom most Angelenos haven't found yet. The tap list runs from crisp lagers to comic-book-coded IPAs, and the space feels like a bright, friendly clubhouse. Long tables, board games, dogs underfoot.
