An outdoor biergarten (communal wood tables, no walls, no weather guarantees) that runs on German beers on tap and the snacks they were always meant to accompany. The Pretzel with Obatzda (Bavarian cheese spread) is the move to start; the Brat Basket brings two sausages with potato salad for the table. Weather permitting, it's one of the few real outdoor beer settings in Hayes Valley.
